I don't turn down a margie - frozen or classic, watermelon or passionfruit, I don't mind. Just don't make it spicy.
I'm a passionate advocate for early rising (I know, crazy living in Melbourne), strong flat whites, and am an absolute travel addict - I am usually planning at least one trip at any given time. It drives my partner crazy, but as I tell him - life's for living!!
My vibe on a wedding day is relaxed - I'm there to fit seamlessly into your day and to make sure your photographs are stress-free, not something that you need to worry about.
Before your day, I make sure that I'm in touch throughout the planning process for any queries that may pop up. Plus, this means that when the day comes, there's no "oh my gosh we forgot XYZ" and a lot more "let's drink champagne and party with our people".
Before my life as a wedding photographer - I was a lawyer. And I hated it. But since moving to Melbourne in early 2022, I missed giving back to communities and people - and so I went back to law, part time (unusual for law to be my 'second job', I know). I now work in the domestic violence space with First Nations families. While I love & care deeply about that work too, I am grateful for the absolute joy that my weddings bring me! It means I intentionally only take on a limited amount of weddings each year, and keeps me super inspired by photography.
Whether it's carrying bouquets, bringing the tunes for spontaneous portrait session dance parties, or making friends with your nan - I'm down.
Jules brought such a warmth to our day and honestly felt like she was a close friend invited to our wedding. She was on time and organised, but also so easy going and really wanted to see our visions come to life. Jules absolutely brought all the vibes to the day! Jules captured the full amount of love, happiness and fun that we had on our wedding day, and I’m just so excited to hang these incredible photos and memories all over our walls! We both (+ all of our guests) couldn’t recommend Jules more!
